Silence is deafening
And it can be overwhelming
It can be so cold
As that’s how I was told
Opportunely! It is something reassuring
That I have found to be enduring
And one can be at peace
At times like this
Silence is everything
In a world too disturbing
It is a priceless commodity
All because of its oddity
Time seems to stop
When silence is at top
So do think twice
And you will be surprised
